The Mill Creek Wildlife Management Area is a special area within the Daniel Boone National Forest. This area, located just south of McKee in Jackson County, Kentucky, is cooperatively managed through the U.S. Forest Service and the
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. Specific hunting seasons and regulations may differ from the rest of the National Forest and other areas within the state of Kentucky. Potential users of this area, and other areas, should contact the Forest Service or KDF & WR regarding hunting seasons.

Fishing
"Trout? Bass? By stream or by lake. We've got 'em!"
Opportunities for fishing include cool water streams, small pools and other selected sites where rainbow trout are stocked. Native fish include small mouth bass, large mouth bass, rock bass, channel catfish, bluegill, sunfish, pickerel and some muskie. Fishing is year-round in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Fishing areas are located at the S-Tree and Turkey Foot Campgrounds.
